ABOUT THE BIG DAY!
Our wedding will begin with the ceremony at 5pm, followed immediately by a cocktail-party style reception with the jazzy tunes of Michael Arenella. Lots of dancing, drinks, and yummy food to be passed around for the next few hours. Then? It’s full on dance party!
Dress code? Good question! Our wedding is semi-formal, not black tie. Please wear what you feel fabulous AND comfortable in. Benny has made a request of all the gentlemen to wear bow ties, so see what you can do. Be sure to break-in those new shoes before the big day. We want to see you all out on the dance floor! We’ll be mixing up the music throughout the wedding, but this is a major dance party!
You should be receiving invites soon. Please RSVP by September 1, 2010. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

For those of you coming from out of town, we really appreciate the time and effort travelling to our wedding will entail. That being said, we hope you will also take time to explore and enjoy our beloved city during your visit. Here are some tips to help get you started…

AIRPORTS
The closest airports to New York City are JFK International airport and LaGuardia International Airport.
Taxis are readily available at the airport to take you into the city at a flat rate of $45 from JFK and at a regular metered rate from LaGuardia. Please be sure to take a yellow NYC cab from the airport taxi queue.

I’ve actually stayed at this hotel, so I can vouch that these are nice modern rooms and close to discount designer store Century 21! And there’s a pool (a rarity in NYC)!
